On August 16th, 2007, Stella Green Productions raised the curtain on the Australian version of Angry Young Women In Low-Rise Jeans With High-Class Issues at the TAP Gallery in Sydney. In its limited run, it sold out seventeen of eighteen performances, received rave reviews and great media coverage. The show was covered in such publications as the Inner West Courier, the Daily Telegraph, Central Magazine and the entire female cast was featured on the front page of MX Magazine (which is Sydney’s AM New York equivalent). Although Stella Green Productions requested permission to change some of the American slang terms to Australian slang, very few changes were actually made to the text and audiences flipped for Angry Young Women in the land down under! They loved the show so much, that a SECOND run was commissioned for January and February of 2008! That run was an even bigger success as it sold out twenty-five of twenty-seven shows and received even great media coverage than the initial Aussie run!
Angry Young Women In Low-Rise Jeans With High-Class Issues is an international sensation!!!!
